TARC Executive Director Barry Barker was on State of Affairs today. He answered a number of listener calls and what struck me the most about his appearance was his willingness to say that TARC needs to be better. At hearings about service cuts, Barker is among the first to say that TARC could do a better job of serving the community. He then adds that, unfortunately, TARC doesn’t have the funding to provide better service right now.
